Artesian Spring Counseling and Retreats
Artesian Spring Retreats are designed for Women of all ages, with the intention of inspiring each woman who attends into a deeper understanding of what it means to bear the image of God: body, soul and spirit. In today's hectic and sometimes chaotic world, it is easy to not only lose track of how to maintain overall health and stability, but sometimes we even lose track of our deepest longings,... and end up living on the treadmill of obligation rather than drawing from the nurturing waters of the Artesian Spring within. It is not difficult to end up moving through our days, months and even years merely getting through them, as opposed to growing and thriving within them.
Designed to nurture spiritual vitality through meaningful fellowship with God, other women, good food, and physical activity, each retreat includes an hour of teaching, 30 minutes of quiet - intentional time for personal reflection and journaling along with directed times of discovery in a small group setting exploring and articulating what our souls are crying out for. Explore what may be keeping you from moving forward and living out of your God-given strength and calling. |
It is intended that by the end of each mini retreat, each person will be empowered to move toward change in some way, no matter how large or small. It may be that simply getting away with other like-minded women to be pampered for a few days and discover what it is you are really about, is your first step toward renewal, strength and vitality. You determine the level of rest and /or exploration that you need to revive and grow.
Mini Refresh-Retreats in the Twin Cities are designed for you to learn and re-calibrate. We encourage women to put together their own cohorts of as small as 3, and as large as 9 and to remain connected in order to encourage one another toward growth and change. Designed to nurture ongoing growth and vitality, these cohorts become small, trusted “communities with purpose.” Whether the retreat is a mini-Refresh, a day long retreat or a once a year weekend retreat, you will see one, two or all of the opportunities listed below as additional resources to the teaching and small group experiences. Please take the time to be renewed and refreshed by considering joining us for these ongoing retreats. With today’s hectic life styles, these retreats will nourish you and affirm your need to be with other like-minded people. Sign up for our mailing list to receive notices regarding themes for upcoming retreats throughout the year. |
